HK VP9: A Modern Pistol Family
The VP9 is one of the most recognizable modern HK names — a polymer-framed, striker-fired platform that has grown into a family rather than a single configuration.

Not the same pistol: the VP9CC and the CC9 are different guns. Both are 9mm micro-compacts, which is why the names get confused.
HK USP: The Classic Platform
Long before the CC9 and the expanded VP9 lineup, the USP became one of the most important pistol names associated with HK. USP stands for Universal Self-loading Pistol.

The VP9SK is the subcompact configuration within the VP9 family, with a shorter slide and grip. Same family, dimensionally a different pistol, which matters for holsters and magazines.
