Leather outside-the-waistband holster for the full-size VP9, right hand. It rides high and pulls the grip in close, which is why a well-made scabbard conceals better under a jacket or overshirt than most people expect from OWB.
Considerably more comfortable than carrying a full-size VP9 inside the waistband, and appreciably faster on the draw. For a lot of VP9 owners this is the honest answer: carry OWB under a layer rather than fight a big pistol IWB.
Fits: full-size VP9 and VP40. Not the VP9SK or VP9CC.
Who it suits: range use, open carry where legal, and anyone who wears a jacket or flannel most of the year.
Worth knowing: concealment depends entirely on your cover garment — under a fitted t-shirt it will show. Leather also needs a week or two of break-in before the draw smooths out. Also available in left hand.
