The HK45 Tactical is the full-size HK45 with a threaded barrel and raised sights tall enough to clear a suppressor.
It came out of the US military’s Joint Combat Pistol requirement in the mid-2000s, which is why the feature set leans toward suppressed and duty use rather than concealed carry.
Worth knowing: if you are not running a suppressor or compensator, the standard HK45 is the better buy — you are otherwise paying for a threaded muzzle and taller sights you will not use.
Holster fitment: the thread protector adds length past the muzzle, so standard HK45 rigs may not clear it. Confirm before ordering. Suppressors are separately regulated and are not sold here. A compact version is available as the HK45 Compact Tactical.
